“P\u00c3O-DE-L\u00d3” WORKSHOP<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ovar’s tradicional cake is the most famous regional sweet from Ovar. It’s made from egg yolks, sugar and some wheat flour. It comes in the shape of a breadcrumb topped by a very tasty brownish crust. This delicacy is extraordinarily cute, with a delicious odor that immediately permeates the taste glands and comes in a white linen wrapper, sometimes slightly crusted by oven temperature.<\/p>\n

Goal:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Take participants to enjoy a sensory trip in which they will get to know the process of making Ovar’s sponge cake (P\u00e3o-de l\u00f3 de Ovar).<\/p>\n

Brief introduction to the history of Ovar’s sponge cake (P\u00e3o-de-l\u00f3 de Ovar), traditionally sweet<\/p>\n

from Lent and Holy Week.<\/p>\n

Presentation of the artisanal process of manufacture, as well as all the indispensable ingredients<\/p>\n

Technical phase and manufacture<\/strong><\/p>\n

Practical demonstration of the sponge cake (P\u00e3o-de-l\u00f3 de Ovar) recipe through the artisan<\/p>\n

process, in which the participant is invited to participate.<\/p>\n

Before leaving:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tasting of sponge cake (P\u00e3o-de-L\u00f3 de Ovar) made by the participants, as well as presentation of<\/p>\n

other locally produced sweets.<\/p>\n
