It&#8217;s made from egg yolks, sugar and some wheat flour. It comes in the shape of a breadcrumb topped by a very tasty brownish crust. This delicacy is extraordinarily cute, with a delicious odor that immediately permeates the taste glands and comes in a white linen wrapper, sometimes slightly crusted by oven temperature.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Goal:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take participants to enjoy a sensory trip in which they will get to know the process of making Ovar&#8217;s sponge cake (P\u00e3o-de l\u00f3 de Ovar).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Upon Arrival:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brief introduction to the history of Ovar&#8217;s sponge cake (P\u00e3o-de-l\u00f3 de Ovar), traditionally sweet<\/p>\n<p>from Lent and Holy Week.<\/p>\n<p>Presentation of the artisanal process of manufacture, as well as all the indispensable ingredients<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical phase and manufacture<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Practical demonstration of the sponge cake (P\u00e3o-de-l\u00f3 de Ovar) recipe through the artisan<\/p>\n<p>process, in which the participant is invited to participate.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Before leaving:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tasting of sponge cake (P\u00e3o-de-L\u00f3 de Ovar) made by the participants, as well as presentation of<\/p>\n<p>other locally produced sweets.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Minimum: <\/em>4 pax<\/p>\n<p><em>Duration: 45 min (aprox)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Professional trainer<\/em>: Gaby (from \u201cGaby, my home)<\/p>\n<p><em>Price per person: <\/em>10.00\u20ac<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;P\u00c3O-DE-L\u00d3&#8221; WORKSHOP Ovar&#8217;s tradicional cake is the most famous regional sweet from Ovar.
