It is committed to conducting its activities in an environmentally responsible manner, with a view to contributing to long-term sustainable development while maintaining customer satisfaction and offering a good experience at the best price.<\/p>\n<p>To this end, we work together with our partners and employees to promote continuous improvement in environmental performance without neglecting the convenience and comfort of our guests.<\/p>\n<p>AquaHotel aims to continuously develop and implement measures to conserve natural resources in order to reduce the environmental impact of its activities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>GOALS AND TARGETS<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, we propose to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Offer a complete and rewarding experience to customers, identifying their needs and expectations with a view to integrating them into our service offering;<\/li>\n<li>Comply with the legal and environmental requirements applicable to our hotel;<\/li>\n<li>Optimise resources, mainly in the use of recycled\/recyclable materials;<\/li>\n<li>Replace bottled water with tap water in the Restaurant and Meeting Rooms;<\/li>\n<li>Reduce the flow of water from taps in washbasins in public areas to &lt;6 litres per minute;<\/li>\n<li>Gradually reduce paper consumption;<\/li>\n<li>Replace all toilet cisterns with a 3\/6 litres selective flush system;<\/li>\n<li>Reduce water, electricity and gas consumption;<\/li>\n<li>Eliminate the use of fragrance sprays when cleaning rooms;<\/li>\n<li>Apply waste management principles by disposing of waste in the appropriate manner.<\/li>\n<li>Promote the use of sustainable means of transport among customers and employees;<\/li>\n<li>Continuously provide adequate information on Good Environmental Practices in order to raise awareness among employees and guests about environmental issues;<\/li>\n<li>Encourage guests and employees to give their opinion on environmental practices in order to improve the Hotel&#8217;s performance;<\/li>\n<li>Develop the social aspect by participating in community solidarity campaigns and collaborating with non-profit associations;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the continuous improvement of our Environmental Management system, in accordance with the evolution of the benchmarks used;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>AquaHotel assumes responsibility and is committed to being an example of good conduct and good environmental practices. To this end, we have adopted an environmental policy that reflects our desire. We are ambitious because it represents investments in equipment and training, but the end result will be rewarding.<\/p>\n<p>Given that \u2018Tomorrow begins Today\u2019, we would like to highlight some of the measures we have already taken to reduce the environmental impact of our activity:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are installing selective flushing systems in all toilet cisterns in the bathrooms of the rooms and public areas of the hotel.<\/li>\n<li>We only wash full loads in the washing machines.<\/li>\n<li>Towels are changed at the guest&#8217;s request.<\/li>\n<li>Bed linen in occupied rooms is changed at the guest&#8217;s request.<\/li>\n<li>Almost all of our facilities are equipped with low-energy light bulbs (saving 80% energy and lasting 8 times longer).<\/li>\n<li>The corridors leading to the rooms are equipped with LED light bulbs.<\/li>\n<li>During periods of low occupancy, we try to accommodate all guests on the same floor, avoiding unnecessary use of lights and air conditioning.<\/li>\n<li>Outdoor lighting is regulated by an automatic timer.<\/li>\n<li>We carry out preventive maintenance to ensure regular cleaning of equipment (air conditioning filters, cold room motors).<\/li>\n<li>Our washing machines and dishwashers are equipped with automatic dispensers and specific programmes for each type of wash, in order to avoid wasting water and detergent.<\/li>\n<li>We only use concentrated industrial products to reduce packaging waste and increase efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>We separate our waste and place it in the appropriate recycling bins (yellow, green and blue).<\/li>\n<li>We reuse the back of sheets of paper for notepads and printing.<\/li>\n<li>We reuse damaged clothing for cleaning cloths.<\/li>\n<li>Used cooking oil from our kitchen is placed in special containers and collected by a cooking oil recycling company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AquaHotel is a hotel unit dedicated to providing hotel and restaurant services.
